Epihercynské nížiny
Epihercynské nížiny is a collective term for the extensive plains outside (i.e., west, north, and east of) the Hercynian mountains. They cover most of northern and eastern Europe - to the north, they extend to the Scandinavian mountains and to the east to the Ural Mountains. The elevation in most areas does not exceed 400 m, except for the Baltic Shield in the north, which culminates in the Chibiny mountains on the Kola Peninsula, with the highest peak being Judyčvumčorr (1200 m).
