Croatia is not just a land of sea and islands – its interior and mountains offer an exceptionally diverse alpine world. This challenge is designed for those who want to experience Croatia from a different perspective: from ridges, rocky peaks, karst plateaus, and wild mountain massifs.

The goal of the challenge is to gradually conquer ten significant Croatian peaks that represent the diversity of the local nature – from coastal mountains with views of the Adriatic to rugged inland areas with minimal civilization. Each ascent will test physical fitness, terrain orientation, and the ability to plan a hike considering the weather and seasons.

The challenge is not about speed, but about the experience. It offers encounters with authentic mountain landscapes, quiet trails, unique panoramas, and often rich history and pastoral culture. Some peaks are accessible via marked paths, while others require experience with more challenging terrain.

The TOP 10 peaks of Croatia is an ideal challenge for more experienced hikers and ambitious mountain enthusiasts who want to push their limits while discovering a lesser-known yet impressive face of Croatia.
