The new alpine bivouac was officially opened on Sunday, July 31, 2005, near the Enel dam in the upper Antrona Valley at an altitude of 2235 meters above sea level.
It is a beautiful structure made of stone and wood, equipped with 12 beds with mattresses, pillows, and blankets, a large dining table, a gas stove, and electric lighting powered by solar panels. Dishes and camping stoves suitable for Campingaz C 206 cartridges. A water fountain and a solar panel with batteries (after approximately 3 hours of use, they were still at 99%) and a 12 V car lighter socket.
