The M.R. Štefánik Hut under Ďumbier is the longest-operating high-altitude hut in the Low Tatras.
The hut offers accommodation in six eight-bed rooms, a dining room with cooked meals, and during the summer season, a buffet on the terrace. All goods and materials for the operation of the hut are carried by mountain porters through the Trangoška Valley (approximately 40 tons annually).
