Lovoš

A prominent mountain above Lovosice, the third most prominent peak of the Czech Central Mountains. A former volcano, composed of olivine nephelinite with a high content of calcium compounds. At several higher locations, basalt appears on the surface in the form of columnar jointing. At the summit, there is a chalet with a restaurant and a viewing terrace.
