Vrchol Ama Dablam was added here by Jar Faldy and info was completed by Martin Matějka a Bouřka.
One of the most iconic mountains in the world. It is located in the Khumbu region near Mt. Everest, where it forms a monumental backdrop for all those heading to the highest mountain on the planet. The first ascent was made in 1961, but it is also worth mentioning the solo ascent by one of the historically best Czech climbers, Miroslav Šmíd, in 1986, when he made a unique first ascent of the West Face.
